Tutoring Guidelines
- There is a limit of one tutor appointment per subject per day. If more tutoring is needed, the tutee may wait for the next available tutor.
- Appointments are reserved for SSC students only. Appointments are available up to one week (7 days) in advance. If the scheduled tutor is unavailable for any reason, the AAC front desk attendant has the authority to assign a different tutor.
- All students must show their SSC student ID cards to schedule an appointment. Making appointments and rescheduling are not available over the phone.
- Tutoring appointments are dependent on tutor’s availability; a tutoring appointment is available for 30 minutes per student per subject.
- Tutors are not responsible for doing the student’s homework. The student must bring textbooks and study his/her own homework.
- Anyone who arrives five or more minutes late loses their appointment and can get tutoring help only on the walk-in basis (first come, first served) for the rest of the day.
