South Suburban College is proud to partner with Thornton Township High School District 205 to present a Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration: “The Dream Continues” on Monday, January 20, 2025, at 10 a.m. in the Kindig Performing Arts Center (PAC) on the first floor of the Main Campus in South Holland.

The dynamic program will feature:
* Guest Speakers: Reverend Dr. Ozzie E. Smith, Jr., and other local community leaders sharing reflections on Dr. King’s impact.
* Keynote Address: Pastor Julian Deshazier and the SSC Voices will inspire with insight on reimagining Dr. King’s dream in today’s world.
* Performances: Talented students from Thornton Township High School District 205 will honor Dr. King’s legacy through art and expression.
* Light Refreshments: A time to connect and foster fellowship.

Through heartfelt speeches, moving performances, and meaningful dialogue, Dr. King’s enduring legacy and its relevance to modern challenges will be explored.
