OVW EVENT: Understanding Stalking Workshop

January is Stalking Awareness Month.
Please join us for this important virtual workshop presented by Sara Ondera, State of Illinois Assistant State’s Attorney, on Wednesday, January 25th at 1:00 pm to help you stay safe!
Topics that will be covered include statistics, predictors, Illinois statutes/case studies and social media and stalking. You will also learn how to protect yourself if you are being stalked or come in contact with a stalker.
Ms. Ondera has been an Assistant State’s Attorney for 17 years at the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office. Eight of those years focused on domestic violence and an overlapping 4 years included a focus on sexual assault prosecutions.
