South Suburban College complies with the Illinois Freedom of Information Act, 5 ILCS 140/1, also identified as Public Act 096-0542 (constituents can view the specifics of the Act).
The Vice President of Administration is the Freedom of Information Act Officer. The office of the Vice President of Administration is located on the first floor of the main campus building in room 1233.
Per the Act, the information request can submitted in any written format to anyone at the College. It is highly recommended that information requests be submitted directly to the Vice President of Administration for timely processing. The College will provide documents in compliance with the law, in terms of content and timeliness.
South Suburban College offers two-year associate degrees in a number of disciplines and certificates in various vocations. Additionally, the College provides many non-credit offerings, corporate training, dislocated worker services and other programs.
