Mark Hood graduated from South Suburban College in 2015. He studied Communications (Radio/TV) and was featured as a vocal contestant on NBC’s The Voice. Mark was exposed to many different facets of TV production, which helped his love for entertainment grow. He hosted SSC’s TV show, Bulldog Bites, which taught him how to be absolutely comfortable in front of the camera.
“I first sang the National Anthem at an SSC Bulldogs Basketball game. That’s a hard song, but I conquered it with my SSC family standing right there watching. SSC was a home for me where I could express my creative talents. Even when music or performing had nothing to do with the class or lesson, my approach was still appreciated and respected.”
