What is C3?

The Department of Continuing, Corporate, and Community Education (C3) focuses on offering high quality non-credit educational opportunities for businesses and community residents. Programs offered include non-credit professional training, certificate programs, corporate training partnerships, and classes for self-improvement and fun.

Free Adult Education

Choose from a wide range of opportunities including Adult Basic Education (ABE), Adult Secondary Education (ASE), and High School Equivalency (HSE) preparation classes, in addition to English as a Second Language (ESL) and our grant-funded Adult Literacy Program. All courses are offered free of charge at South Suburban College.

Workforce Development Department

The Workforce Development Department at South Suburban College offers Employment Training programs and services. The programs provide services based upon the needs of the individual to obtain or retain employment for self-sufficiency.

SouthWorks Maker Lab at South Suburban College

Maker Labs provide local manufacturers with access to new tools that they may not have and talent that can help them solve problems they may not be able to surmount on their own. Tinkerers, innovators and artisans develop viable products they are able to prototype and test in the Maker Lab.
