Job Description:
The Veterans Center is looking for a friendly, knowledgeable veteran student to help other veteran students who come in the Veterans Center for assistance.
Job Duties:
- Greet and answer questions veterans may have about education benefits
- Socialize with veterans who come into the Veterans Center
- Keep the Veterans Center organized
Qualifications:
- Must have current year FAFSA completed
- Must be Federal Work Study Eligible
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
- Must be currently enrolled at South Suburban College
- Must be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours
- Must maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress
- Must be pursuing an approved educational degree or certificate

Days of the week FWS Students are needed: Monday – Thursday
Times of the week FWS students are needed: Mondays 1 p.m. – 7 p.m., Tuesdays 8 a.m. – 12 p.m., Wednesdays 8 a.m. – 12 p.m., and Thursdays 8 a.m. – 2 p.m.
