Dual Credit gives high school students the opportunity to earn college credit while still in high school, helping them get a head start on their future. These courses allow students to experience college-level learning, strengthen academic skills, and build confidence in their ability to succeed beyond graduation.
Taking Dual Credit courses can have a lasting positive impact. Students may save time and money by completing college coursework early, explore academic and career pathways, and make a smoother transition from high school to college. Dual Credit also helps students develop the discipline, responsibility, and readiness needed for long-term success in higher education and the workforce.
South Suburban College is here to help students and families navigate the Dual Credit experience and make the most of this valuable opportunity. If you have questions or would like more information, please contact our Early College Programs Coordinator at 708-596-2000 ext. 2265.
