Barbering
You Come to Us
The Barbering program at SSC is available to provide services to the college and the community. Our student barbers benefit from working with clients in a variety of ways; including scheduling appointments, gathering client profiles and service preferences in addition to providing the requested services as they complete their training.
The SSC Barber program can provide a variety of hair cut/design services, shampoo services, chemical services, facials and beard services as well as installation of temporary hair pieces.

- Mondays 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. (Last Cut at 8:45 p.m.)
- Tuesdays 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. (Last Cut at 8:45 p.m.)
- Wednesdays 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. (Last Cut at 8:45 p.m.)
- Thursdays 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. (Last Cut at 8:45 p.m.)
Walk-ins are welcome during scheduled service hours. Dates and times are subject to change without notice.
Cosmetology

The Cosmetology program at SSC is available to provide services to the college and the community. Our student cosmetologists benefit from working with clients in a variety of ways; including scheduling appointments, gathering client profiles and service preferences in addition to providing the requested services as they complete their training.
The SSC Cosmetology program can provide a variety of services, including hairstyling, shampoo and sets, chemical services, estethics, installation of temporary hair pieces as well as nail services.

- Tuesdays 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Wednesdays 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Thursdays 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Barber Bus Request
We Come to You
The Barber & Cosmetology programs at SSC can come to you! Our bus can provide services, presentations, and demonstrations at your next community event. We have you covered whether you’re looking for a school visit, senior center, fair, or other venue.
Please fill out the following if you’re interested in the availability of the SSC Barber Bus for your event:
All Barber Bus requests must be submitted 14 days prior to the event. The Barber Bus is available for four hour blocks based on student and instructor availability.
