Student Self-Service will be unavailable during a scheduled upgrade from March 13 at 4:00 PM and continue through March 20. Students who wish to register during the outage window can do so by completing a paper registration form available in-person at the SSC Circle.
You can now fill out your census form at home either ONLINE or by phone to (844) 330-2020 or (844) 468-2020 for Spanish. Be prepared with the letter you have received and follow the instructions on the U.S. Census website. Cook County will continue to conduct virtual outreach to make sure everyone is counted.
Why Does it Matter?
- The Census impacts every individual and community in Cook County.
- The data is used to distribute billions in federal funds to local communities in areas such as transportation, healthcare and affordable housing, to name a few. One example is the Community Development Block Grant Program.
- An accurate census helps ensure fair representation at all levels of government – congressional districts, commissioner districts and wards.
