SGA petitions open in September. Students are encouraged to participate in shaping the future of campus by running and voting in this election. For more information, email studentlife@ssc.edu, call (708) 596-2000, ext. 5737 or stop by Room 2329 on the second floor of the Main Campus.
All students enrolled in college-credit courses are considered voting members of the Student Government Association of South Suburban College and are encouraged to attend regularly scheduled meetings.
Senators and officers, which are elected by the student body, include president, executive vice-president, vice-president of public relations, treasurer, secretary and senators.
The Student Government Association strives to promote student activities, keep active communications among all segments of the College community and address student concerns and grievances.
