South Holland, IL – South Suburban College (SSC) is proud to announce Samar Bures, a Park Forest, Illinois native, averaged 27 points, four rebounds, seven assists, five steals, and one block per game last week, leading the Bulldogs to a 2-0 record during that stretch.

The Bulldogs currently hold a 5-1 season record and are ranked No. 12 in the latest NJCAA Division II poll. Coach John Pigatti expressed his enthusiasm for Bures’ recognition, noting that it coincided with Bures’ career-high 32-point game against the College of Lake County. “He is a special player, and I am glad he is getting recognized for his talents,” Pigatti said.
