The purpose of the Student Emergency Aid Program is to support SSC students who are experiencing an unexpected event or situation that requires immediate attention and support. Financial support up to $500 for short-term, nonrecurring emergencies is available.
Eligible Expenses
Eligible expenses may include, but are not limited to utilities; housing/rent; food; medical/dental; transportation; and childcare. College expenses such as tuition, fees and books are not eligible.
To apply students must:
- Be currently enrolled at SSC
- Have earned a 2.0 GPA or greater
- Provide documentation of request (payments will be provided to the vendor, not the student)
- If approved, complete a financial literacy course
Student Self-Service will be unavailable during a scheduled upgrade from March 13 at 4:00 PM and continue through March 20. Students who wish to register during the outage window can do so by completing a paper registration form available in-person at the SSC Circle.
