The Summer 2026 Graduation Application is now open.
Graduation Application Information:
- Students completing a degree, certificate, or basic certificate in the 2026 Summer semester must submit a graduation application by Monday, July 20, 2026.
- Graduation applications must be submitted through SSC Self-Service.
- Students who were denied graduation in a previous semester must submit a new graduation application for the term in which they intend to graduate.
Why Students Should Apply:
- Submitting a graduation application allows the Degree Audit team to review the student’s academic record and determine whether all degree, certificate, or basic certificate requirements have been met.
- Applying to graduate does not automatically mean a credential will be awarded. Students must successfully complete all program and institutional requirements before a degree, certificate, or basic certificate can be conferred.
To be eligible to receive a degree, certificate, or basic certificate, students must:
- Successfully pass their program evaluation.
- Earn a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0.
- Have all official transcripts on file, including an official high school transcript.
- Clear all financial restrictions on their student account.
Important Reminder:
- Students should submit a graduation application even if they do not plan to participate in the Annual Commencement Ceremony.
Please note: Basic Certificates are not eligible for participation in Commencement but still require a graduation application in order to be reviewed and conferred.
Commencement Participation Information:
To be eligible to participate in Commencement, students must:
- Submit a graduation application by the Commencement participation deadline of Monday, July 20, 2026.
- Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0.
- Complete or be enrolled in all degree or certificate requirements during the semester in which they apply.
- Students with a remaining course to be completed during the Summer semester must meet with their Academic Advisor for conditional approval.
Students who miss the graduation application deadline should contact their Academic Advisor to discuss eligibility and next steps.
