South Holland, IL – South Suburban College (SSC) in partnership with Calumet Area Industrial Commission (CAIC) is opening doors to opportunity this summer with its Recycling Warehouse Workforce Training Program, a six-week, hands-on experience designed to prepare participants for careers in high-demand industrial and environmental fields.

Running June 1 through July 14 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., this innovative program blends classroom learning with practical, job-ready skills inside SSC’s working warehouse environment.

Participants won’t just learn they’ll leave with industry-recognized credentials, including an OSHA 10 card and forklift certification, along with career pathway foundational skills that position them for immediate employment opportunities.
