South Suburban College to Provide Additional Rapid Testing at its Oak Forest Center

COVID-19 vaccine boosters are now available at SSC’s Main Campus in South Holland.

SOUTH HOLLAND, IL – South Suburban College is providing additional free rapid COVID-19 testing at its Oak Forest Center through Loop Medical Center. The additional days and times are Tuesdays from 3 – 7 p.m. and Wednesdays from 7 – 11 a.m., and will include options for both saliva and nasal swabs. The new days are in addition to the SHIELD Illinois rapid testing occurring on Mondays from 7 – 9 a.m. Testing results are available within 24 hours. SSC’s Main Campus is now providing Moderna, Pfizer and Johnson & Johnson vaccination and booster options, along with COVID-19 testing at its free drive-thru site in South Holland. Both the COVID-19 vaccination and testing are also now open four days a week on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. The drive-thru set up is located within the Northwest Parking Lot at 15800 South State Street, South Holland, Illinois. Pritzker on August 26, 2021, all employees, students and regular visitors of South Suburban College are required to either be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 or be subject to at least weekly COVID-19 testing.
