SSC’s Maker Lab to Host Ornament Making Workshop at Oak Forest Center on December 17th

OAK FOREST, IL– South Suburban College’s Maker Lab is offering a Maker Day: DIY Holiday Ornament Workshop on Tuesday, December 17th from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the college’s Oak Forest Center.

Participants of all ages are encouraged to bring family and friends to create personalized ornaments. The cost is $7 per ornament or 2 for $10. RSVPs must be made at Eventbrite: “SSC Maker Lab: DIY Holiday Ornament Workshop.” Checks should be made payable to South Suburban College.

Maker spaces and labs are places for people to gather and create using a variety of tools including advanced technology such the 3D printer and laser cutter at SSC’s Maker Lab. These do-it-yourself (DIY) spaces have areas for both independent and group work. SSC’s Maker Lab is conveniently located at the Oak Forest Center – 16333 South Kilbourn Avenue, Oak Forest, Illinois.
