STEM for Kids Summer Programs Coming to South Suburban College in June

SOUTH HOLLAND, IL – South Suburban College’s Office of Continuing Education and STEM Department are partnering to offer courses to help fill the summer days with activities that will inspire and challenge kids and young adults.

Explore various areas of STEM (science, technology, engineering, math) utilizing tools available in the SouthWorks Maker Lab. Topics may include, but are not limited to: two and three-dimensional design software, electronics, programming, laser cutting and 3D printing.

KFKSSC is pleased to offer several STEM for Kids classes at the Oak Forest Center in June for grade school and high school students:

KFK C03 701-STEM CAMP
Cost: $100; includes lab materials
4th-6th grade students, June 19-22, 8:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m., M-Th, OFC Room 5160

KFK C03 702-STEM CAMP
Cost: $100; includes lab materials
7th-9th grade students, June 26-19, 8:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m., M-Th, OFC Room 5160
