Gervaise Edwards

Gervaise has been with South Suburban College since 2013 working in various departments. She currently serves as the Manager of Continuing, Corporate, and Community Education. Her position responsibilities include increasing awareness of Manufacturing & Maintenance Technology and Welding certificates as well developing Computer Applications and Contract Training professional development activities for area businesses.

Her primary clients are Niagara LaSalle and Village of Riverdale. The territories she covers include Country Club Hills, Oak Forest, Riverdale, and Phoenix. She has a results driven attitude and demonstrates exceptional customer service when interacting with students, peers and external partners.

Ms. Edwards has a passion for working with troubled teens. As such she spends her free time mentoring, providing emotional support to youth and collecting food and clothes for shelters for homeless women and children.

She attended Robert Morris College and Kennedy King College.

Gervaise is the proud wife of Anthony Edwards and he has three daughters and two grandchildren.

Alexandra Glumac

Alexandra spent twenty years of working in the mental health industry with a variety of south suburban community mental health centers.

In 2006, Alexandra changed career paths and began working in the field of education. Currently, she is a Client Solutions Specialist/consultant for South Suburban College, facilitating professional development workshops for local businesses and organizations, serving as a consultant for human resources functions, and organizing workforce optimization events and conferences.

Alexandra currently serves as the Executive Secretary of the South Holland Business Association and is the immediate Past President of the Chicagoland Speakers Network.

Alexandra is the doting and devoted aunt of two nephews and one niece. She enjoys traveling to exotic locations, reading and spending time with her very large and ethnic extended family. With a passion for sports, she is a lifelong White Sox and Blackhawks fan.
